What inspired you to pursue a career in real estate?

I started in real estate after a career in music promotion where I learned how powerful presentation and strategy are in creating results. I realized those same skills could help people with one of the most important decisions of their lives, buying or selling a home. What drew me in was the combination of strategy, negotiation, and human connection. I love that every transaction has its own story, and I get to guide clients through it while protecting their interests and helping them achieve their goals.

How would you describe your approach to real estate in Sarasota and the surrounding Tampa Bay area?

Being a listing specialist, as well as representing buyers in one of the hottest markets in the nation, it’s about understanding precisely what your clients needs are. Realtors are matchmakers, therefore, finding the right opportunity is absolutely priority.

Reliability is all about consistency, so I have a few non negotiable habits. I start every morning reviewing my active transactions and following up on anything outstanding before clients even have to ask. I set clear timelines and always update clients the same day I get new information, even if it’s just to say there’s no update yet.

I also time block my day so important tasks never get pushed aside, and I keep detailed notes on every conversation so I can follow through exactly on what I promised. My clients know they’ll hear from me before they need to reach out, and that’s what builds trust.

What are some common mistakes buyers or sellers make in Florida real estate?

I’d say one mistake I see is sellers trying to sell on their own with an unreasonable price. I couldn’t tell you how many of them I’ve spoken with, that expressed they thought it would be an easier process, but actually end up hiring a realtor to get the job done.

How do you turn satisfied clients into referrals who recommend you to friends and family?

For me, referrals aren’t something I ask for, they’re something I earn. From the first meeting, I focus on making the process so smooth and stress-free that clients feel confident recommending me. After closing, I stay in touch with market updates, homeownership tips, and even personal check-ins, so our relationship doesn’t end when the keys change hands. When people see you as their trusted real estate resource year round, referring you becomes a natural choice.
